The patent-pending Lifdek pallet assembly machine represents a break through in the way pallets are quickly prepared for customer use. Rather than shipping pre-assembled pallets, a top and bottom "blank" of corrugated fibreboard or fluted polypropylene, are shipped flat-packed to site.
One operator takes each blank and loads it into the machine and through a speed-adjustable cycle time, is able to assemble a pallet in 60 seconds.
Two operators working on opposite sides of the machine can assemble a pallet in 30 seconds.
A wide range of pallet sizes can be handled by the machine.
Machines are licensed to volume users after a payment of a small security deposit, whereas smaller volume users can use Lifdek hand-assembly tables, for erecting both pallets and skids.
